Quickly reuse and re-purpose content. Automatically publish a final (public) document on a regular basis - e.g. once a day.

Typical use case, assign documents to different authors, link (see 'include links' below) to these documents and then periodially combine these documents into a final document.

Source document - contains links to other documents.

Target document - a public version of the source document, with all linked documents "sucked" in. Importantly the add-on always updates the same target document so that you can distribute the link to it once.

Include links

Use special "include" hyperlinks that points to other documents or sections of other documents that will be included when you compile the source document into it's final public version.

An include link is a regular Docs hyperlink but with the prefix "include:" and an optional suffix within brackets pointing to a heading section in the document. You do not need to create these links yourself, the add-on provides UI for this including a preview of the targeted documents.

Content repositories

You manage your own content repository of reusable content by using a regular Google Gdrive folder. The "insert link" UI described above lets you quickly search for documents in your designated repository.


Include text that frequently changes and appears often in your documents as variables.

Variables are also useful for providing information that is updated automatically, such as the current date or time.

They furthermore enable "single sourcing" - using the same set of source documents to generate different versions of a PDF.
